We had a wonderful trip!
Many stops and fun places to see and do.
We left Tuesday afternoon, drove up to Arlington,TX. We stayed there that night and the next morning we went to Six Flags over Texas. It rained a bit around lunch time so we left the park and went to go spend a few hours doing something else while the weather cleared. We had lunch and watched a movie. Then headed back to the park for the rest of the day. Was a blast! A few scary rides but it was worth it. :-D

The fourth of July we had a picnic type dinner and watched fireworks go off at the Rangers baseball Field. They put on quite a show and it was fun! I had a time trying to get a pic of some fireworks but had fun doing it!That night we stayed in Sulfer Springs, not to far away from the park.

On our way to Mo. I got some awesome sky pics. The joys of driving for hours makes you creative. :-D
The next morning we were up and on our way to MO. We drove most of that day. Made it to a Park called Washington State Park. Was a nice place! We camped there that night. Was an interesting experience. We got there late. So we set up camp, ate. and headed to bed. A few hours into the night our nice little air mattress had started and was well on its way to being COMPLETELY deflated. So by morning we were sleeping on hard ground. No air between us and the hard ground. I was quite sore for sure. But it was a fun experience for sure and a memory we will remember for a long time to come.

On the Way to My sisters house through St. Louis.
From there we went that day to my sisters house in Highland. Flat farmland until you get to the pretty town they live in. Its pretty a pretty town and out there were she says " only the people who want to come out there come out there". We stayed with them for 2 days. Had a good time with my sis and bro in law.

A Pretty Town Square.
A shot of my sis and bro in law.. they didnt know. But it was cute. :-)
It was VERY sunny so my poor bubby could barely see without his glasses.
We went to church with them on Sunday. And from church we said our goodbyes and headed out for home.

Sisters and their Husbands.
Sisters!
We made a stop in Waco Sunday night so my husband could do some work and then headed home Monday around lunch time.
And of course my fav place to visit ANY time.

We had a great trip and have some good memories but it is so good to be home. My home!!! How I Love it!
I came home to a very clean house which I am glad I did before our trip cause its soo homey and clean and I don't have to worry about picking up anything. Off to do a few loads of laundry.
Back to normal everyday life now.
Whatever that means.... :-D
