A Call to Higher Places

Who wants a good laugh?
OK, I came in to work today,
and as usual I am the only one here.
So I punch in the door code, open the door, notice theres
a gecko in the doorstop... no big deal...
I walk in, don't turn on the hall light cause I know where my office is
so why turn it on if no ones gonna be in there? Well, I get one step in the hall and guess what
got caught up in my flip flop???? THE CREEPY GECKO!!!!!!!!! I SCREAMED bloody murder....
I guess it is a VERY good thing that no one was here. lol. I would of scared them like someone was killing me or something. Once I realized what it was in my shoe and the scream was over with, I flipped my shoe FAR FAR FAR away from me, ran tiptoe to were my office is, but this time I was to far away from the light switch from the hall and I was NOT going back cause I was NOT gonna take the chance to step on that thing URGH! So I unlocked my office, flipped on the light so I could see out in the hall... Still couldn't see anything... lol and I still had to find my shoe.. hehe So, I run back to the end of the hall to turn on the light and sure enough there on the hall ground was the poor little gecko scared out of his wits.. hehe. So I found my shoe and left the poor thing alone.
What a morning...
