How do YOU do your coupons?

For me I have tried SO many ways and found one way that helps me stay
organized in my coupon life.
But works for me doesn't work for the next person!

I started out cutting every coupon but realized along the way its not that easy!
Keeping up with it alone in cutting them all out and organizing was taking to much
time! But I also found when trying to find a specific coupon that most places will have
them listed under the date that the insert came out. And when you have cut them
all out you no longer know what date it came out in!!! :-D

I looked around for awhile trying to decide what I wanted out of my coupon book.
I needed something that held my WHOLE inserts without destroying them. I needed
several pockets to use for the different stores I shopped at. Pockets for scissors and a
calculator.
So I finally found what I was looking for on eBay. I have been using it for almost 3
months now and I LOVE it.
It has 2 ring holders so I have my inserts on one side and all my cut coupons that I will
be using in plastic dividers on the other. It has been so handy!

So if you see a girl with a bright pink binder over her cart walking thru the store. Its
probably me!!! :D

So how do organize your coupons? What has worked the best for you! Do share! Share

Well, you've certainly given me something to think about. I've been buying five Sunday papers every week, cutting out every single coupon and then storing them in a 3-ring binder in baseball card holders. It's been great, but so time consuming (with a one-year-old) that I really don't WANT to keep up with it! But, this...this is exciting! I'm on ebay right now, putting in a bid!!!

Thanks for sharing!

I have a coupon organizer that I got from Gooseberry Patch. It's small and has about 15 or so pages that have a pocket for the category on it. It's not the easiest for keeping the coupons in complete view, as you do have to sort through the stack in each pocket to see what you have, but I like it because its small enough to fit in my purse.

I have looked at the one from Mrs. A's http://mrsascouponorganizer.com/
but I just have never felt like spending the extra money since I have the other coupon book. But I have been tempted though.

Hey, I like your blog! Thanks for all the helpful stuff. Your organizer looks cool. I just started organizing my coupons in a 3 ring binder with baseball card slots too. This is my 2nd week to be "serious" about being frugal. :)

If you leave them uncut, when you go to Walgreens and see something on clearance, how do you know if you have a coupon for it?

Well,
I am going thru my coupons all the time so I got a pretty good idea of what I have and where it is. And once you have been doing this for some time you know what insert usually comes out with what coupons. I just prefer not to cut because in the long run for me it is to much time. I know some people do VERY well with cutting there coupons. It just depends on what you feel comfortable doing.
