Book Review: From Clutter to Clarity

Not long ago Nancy Twigg emailed me and asked me if I would be willing
to review her new book out!

From Clutter to Clarity: Simplifying Life from the Inside Out

By: Nancy Twigg

This book is amazing and it hits the heart of the problem of clutter right on the head!

She talks about how the secret to clarity -spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial- is more than just cleaning out closets, drawers, and boxes of receipts!

It is an internal disease, a heart issue! And to conquer the issue of clutter we need to get rid of the clutter in our heart.

She says to think of your life as Clarity 101 with Hebrews 12:1-2 as your required reading. :-)

Throw off what Hinders you:

1: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Focus on Jesus:

2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Being content clarifies life by keeping us focused on reality! Not on the inevitable what'if's and if-only's!

There are SO many quotes in this book that I love!
So here's a few to ponder!

"A new definition of clutter: anything that complicates your life and prevents you from living in peace as you live our your purpose."

"Clutter does more than affect us physical and emotionally; it also affects us spiritually because it keeps up from following Jesus fully."

"Even noble pursuits become clutter when they endanger our sanity and leave us with no time to connect with God."

"A fine line exists between need and excess. That line is called enough."

I was very impressed with this book. She touches so many issues in dealing with the heart of the matter.

You can get your own book by going to Nancy's website and ordering it there!

Enjoy!!! Share

Sounds like a book that would help me!! It so touches on all that I'm struggling with right now. It is amazing, especially as women, how clutter can control and dictate our lives. Maybe I'll be able to buy it soon and read it for myself!!

Great review! I have really worked on getting the clutter out of my life in the past 2 years and it's so freeing! I've had to strike a balance with my finding great deals & stock piling, and being overwhelmed with the extra.
