It's whats for Dinner
Farmhouse Chicken w/Red Potatoes and Greenbeans, Salad, and Fruit salad. Along with a cup of Fresh Juiced Lemon/Limeade! So good! (I made and extra Casserole to stick in the freezer for after baby comes!)
Farmhouse Chicken
Ingredients:
4 tbs butter
4 tbs flour
2 cup milk
2 chicken breasts, boiled and cubed
4 celery stalks chopped
1 small onion chopped
salt
pepper
12 ounce package of stuffing mix
Instructions:
Saute onion set aside.
Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions and set aside.
In a medium sauce pan, melt butter and then add flour. Stir until bubbly, then cook one minute. Slowly add in milk, stirring continually to avoid lumps. Add chicken, celery, onion, salt and pepper.
Cook and stir for 5-10 minutes.
Pour mixture into an 8x8-inch casserole dish. Top with stuffing.
Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Red Potatos w/ Green Beans
Clean and cut into 1-2 inch pieces about a dozen small red potatoes.
Boil till very tender.
Drain Potatoes and put back in pot with a small amount of olive oil.
Sprinkle in alittle parsley.
Brown for a few mins and add in 2 cans of drained greenbeans.
Cook for a few more mins and serve.
Oh so good Fruit salad from some fruit that I got in this 2 weeks produce co-op. And a pitcher of fresh made lemon/limeade juice! Dinner was Oh So GOOD! Share

What kind of stuffing mix did you use? Would stove top work?
