37.3 Weeks along

Only 18 more days until my due date! I am getting SO ready to meet my son. I have loved being pregnant but am getting to the stage of “I’m done” being pregnant!!! :-D

Monday night my church family threw me a baby shower and was very nice! I received lots of cute baby stuff and got to finish decorating his room with several things! Lots of baby boy clothes that are just adorable! They also were so sweet and all got together and bought be a whole bunch of scrapbooking items! I have been wanting to do it for so long but haven’t been able to and now I can! I am loving it!

I also had another Dr. apt on Tuesday and looks like everything is going fine. He’s measuring a nice big boy and his heartbeat is strong as ever! I am dilated to a “1 1/2” but that doesn’t mean much in my eyes.. lol Lots of ladies walk around for a long time like that but then again who knows maybe he will come a week early! I am hoping so! Anytime after the 12 of July I am good to go! Andrea is on vacation with her husband and parents until then but after that this kido can come ANYTIME! :-D I’m downing my prego tea like crazy hoping it helps with labor and all that jazz! I have heard lots of great things from people who have used it so I am hoping it works and does SOMETHING for me! :-D

I am trying to stay off my feet as much as possible and take it easy when I can as my ankles get nice and swollen if I am on them to much… is a tad annoying but its nothing major. My Dr. says I am fine and have no signs of toxemia and my blood pressure is great. I just am retaining water like a prego person… she said be prepared to pee buckets once he’s born.

Here is what he’s doing at 37 weeks along.
Your baby is full term! This means that if your baby arrives now, his lungs should be fully mature and ready to adjust to life outside the womb, even though your due date is still three weeks away.Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel. Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. Share
