11 months old

I can't believe my little baby is going to be one in less than a month now! It seems like yesterday we were coming home from the hospital with him. Time sure flies!

Poor little man has not been feeling so well the last few days, my guess is he is getting his 1 year mollars. His gums are super swollen and hes not eatting reg food much. And since he hasn't been feeling so well he has been super restless and up alot at night not so happy... which makes for a cranky mommy the next day! Two nights of no sleep is not easy! I sure hope the teeth come in soon if thats what it is!

The little man is growing and learning things so fast! He is starting to pick up on other words besides Dada! ( Mind you he did say Mama first but as SOON as he learned the word Dada he no longer said Mama... :-( ah well I know he will say it again someday!!!!!!))

He LOVES to go outside, and will just watch out the window for fun! Silly boy! He loves the water in any form still!!!!! He was jumping off the edge of the pool into the water the other day with his aunts help and was laughing and laughing!

He no longer just "walks" he RUNS! Loves to play ball! Runs and greats Dada with hugs and grins when he comes home from work and asks for him all day long!

I just finished reading "The Heart Mender" by Andy Andrews. This book was so captivating I didn't want to put it down! A book based on a true story set in our time and goes back to the time of World War II. A man discovers some artifacts buried in sand for half a century and discovers a story that you will want to read for youself.
The historical facts get you hooked for sure in the story. The blend of fact and fiction was fantastic!  This is a very intriguing story of acceptance, love and forgiveness that once you start it you won't be able to put it down either!

3am just isn't cool....

Can someone tell that to my son?

What happened to my great lil sleeper who slept a solid 11 hours every night unless he was sick!?!?!?

As of late he has been waking up at 3 am and its rough! He goes back to sleep ussualy pretty fast and wakes up around 6:30-45. Still a bit early than he use to but thats not TO bad if he would doze off after eating but yah no... hes WIDE awake! :-D

Today we are starting to cut out his morning nap in hopes that with just one longer nap in the middle of the day, instead of a morning and afternoon nap, helps him sleep better at night!

It was ROUGH I tell you! Specialy since the little stinker was awake at 6:30 and didn't take any snooze after nursing! Around 10 he was SO ready for a nap but I held him off despite the cranky attitude it came with! He ate lunch and nursed and CRASHED! :-D

Hopefully he sleeps for a good 2 -3 hours and will be refreshed with a better attitude! :-D

Now I'm off to do a few things and then settle down for some quite time! Mommy always needs some quite time! Share
